Malin, always the busy beauty was out and about at several events these past few days. Namely Fallout 3″ Video Game Launch, Scream 2008 and A Screening of “Filth And Wisdom” hosted by The Cinema Society. She looked smokin’ hot at all! The Scream event aired last night and I hope you got a chance to watch. The very some awesome new Watchmen footage withs tons of Malin’s Silk Spectre. I was impressed by the clip and can not wait for it to debut online. I will of course make caps. For now enjoy the pics.

Hundreds of new Malin Akerman images have been added. Since May, Malin was busy attending several events but I didn’t have time to add these, I’ve finally caught up on all of those as well as added some new scans; Set’s September cover issue & Entertainment Weekly’s July 25th Watchmen cover. I even spotted a gorgeous new shoot while saving pics. Enjoy the eye-candy-a-plenty!

Watchmen could find itself in court before it arrives at the multiplex.

Warner Bros. is scheduled to release Zack Snyder’s big-screen adaptation of the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons comics series on March 6, but a federal judge in Los Angeles complicated that plan Wednesday when he refused to dismiss a lawsuit filed by 20th Century Fox against Warners over rights to the property.

Judge Gary Allen Fees ruled that Fox has established enough evidence to support its claims that it holds the distribution rights to the film version of the 1980s graphic novel about damaged superheroes.

Asserting what it calls its “long-standing motion picture rights” to Watchmen, Fox said Monday that it will ask the court to “enjoin the release of the Warner Brothers film and any related Watchmen media that violate our copyright interests in that property.”

Carla Gugino and Malin Akerman, who play mother-and-daughter superheroes in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen movie, told SCI FI Wire that they hung out off screen to work out the dynamics of their on-screen relationship–which was especially important, since the two actors’ ages are really only a few years apart.

“We probably had about three weeks to sort of just hang out together and get to know each other, and we definitely just got along right away,” Akerman said in a group interview at Comic-Con International in San Diego last weekend. “Like [Gugino] said, we have a lot of similarities in our lives and in our families that sort of brought us even closer. So we could relate these characters to things that have happened in our lives and sharing those with each other so that we knew when we were doing our scenes where that was coming from.”

The a-m-a-z-i-n-g first trailer for Watchmen has been released and can be viewed in high definition over at Apple. In fact, it is a must see for all the fans! Malin looks breathtaking!

With The Dark Knight hitting theaters on July 18, many are wondering which trailers they can expect to be released with such a highly-anticipated movie. ComingSoon.net has now confirmed which trailers Warner Bros. Pictures will be debuting.

There’s been much speculation that we’ll be seeing the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but it looks like Harry Potter fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first footage. Our guess is it will be shown with the studio’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars on August 15, but that’s not confirmed.

Instead, what you can expect are the first trailers for Warner Bros.’ Terminator Salvation (May 22, 2009), which of course also stars Christian Bale, Zack Snyder’s graphic novel adaptation Watchmen (Mar. 6, 2009), and the Ridley Scott-directed thriller Body of Lies (Oct. 10), with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
